My work… in a nutshell
Healthy Learning Organizations Model
As part of my Ph.D. thesis, I developed the Healthy Learning organizations (HLO) model in order to understand why some organizations were more efficient than others at detecting and intervening on health and wellbeing problems among their workforce. The HLO model reconciles the contribution of organizational learning and work stress theories. I have authored articles on the theoretical and empirical underpinnings of the HLO model (see Publications and Conferences), and am still enriching this model with new ideas (e.g., leadership theories – see Beauregard & Gaudet (2018)) !
Agricultural Health and Safety
My research projects here aim to explore how recent structural changes in agriculture (e.g., implementation of biosecurity and animal welfare norms) contribute to redefine the work of agricultural entrepreneurs, and to what extent this redefinition impacts on their physical and mental health. I am also interested in mobilization issues among agricultural entrepreneurs. Looking forward to be on the field beginning Winter 2020 !
Youth Knowledge Mobilization @ Work
Since the beginning of 2019, I have the privilege to share with four amazing colleagues MYRIAGONE – McConnell-University of Montreal Research Chair in Youth Knowledge Mobilization. With this Chair, I will seek to explore multiple themes connecting youth knowledge mobilization and work, as well as rural health.
